Play By Ear!!
Grab an instrument, sing and play along! If you have a piano, put your right hand pinky (finger #5) on G and play going lower with the rhythm of Deck The Halls!
You can make anything into a rhythm instrument in your home. Grab pots, pans or a used oatmeal canister for a homemade drum. Put dry beans in a used Pringles canister or another small canister and tape for a homemade shaker!! Be creative and get the kids involved by asking them what ideas they have for rhythm band instruments and let them decorate and personalize it!
Teachers, students and parents please visit my Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) store to purchase my printables. This holiday printable teaches the dotted rhythms that appear in many holiday tunes.
